Ok, this coming weekend: Friday July 14th through Sunday, July 16th ABATE districts 4 and 8 are co-sponsoring the annual River Bash at Turner Bend on the Mulberry River in Northwest Arkansas. It's going to be three days of PAAARRRTTTYYY!! Starts at noon on Friday and runs till the last one's standing Sunday. Saturday night we have the free feed and the band. Lots of rides, games, good times for all. Everyone is welcome, and the only posted rules are "No attitudes, no guns and no minors." Cost is $15.00 (for all three days!) to ABATE members, and $20.00 to non-members. If you're close enough to make it and hot weather doesn't bum ya out, then come join us and have a "River Bash!" This annual event's been going on for a loooong time now, and each one's better than the one before. Your $$ covers dinner Saturday night and the band, so it's a deal. That also gets ya a campsite. Hope to see some of the people from this forum down there. If you come, look me up Saturday. I'll be working security somewhere around the place.
